St. Beuno’s Jesuit Spirituality Centre - East Wing

St. Beuno’s Jesuit Spirituality Centre is a grade II* listed complex of buildings and a registered landscape near Tremeirchion, Denbighshire.  The buildings have been in use by the Jesuit Church since they were built, starting life as a College, and latterly becoming a retreat house, welcoming visitors from around the world.

The practice, having initially developed a site-wide masterplan and Conservation Statement, led the £2.6m refurbishment of the East Range, which also included a suite of contemporary, new-build meeting rooms, a new chapel entrance and spiritual direction spaces.  The new works reflect the beauty of the site, using sustainable, natural materials with an oak frame and flooring in Anglesey limestone.  The project also created new state-of-the-art catering kitchens, accessible bedrooms and retail space.
