Design

We specialise in the design of new buildings and structures within the setting of listed buildings and other historic structures, together with sensitive extensions and other alterations.  

We passionately believe that any valued building can be skilfully adapted to meet modern day needs.  This can be through the conversion into a new use, providing access for as wide a group of users as possible or reducing the buildings impact on climate change.  We have an exceptional knowledge of natural building materials and traditional construction methods and believe that this is key to upgrading buildings to reduce heat loss and our reliance on fossil fuels and artificial materials.

We love both modern and traditional design styles and will always be flexible in selecting the right approach for each of our projects.
