Waunfawr Welsh Highland Railway within the Snowdonia National Park

Architects for the re-building of a historic station on Welsh Highland Railway within the Snowdonia National Park.  

The building had been dismantled around 20 years previously after becoming derelict and beyond repair.  

The project combined a careful understanding of the buildings original construction and appearance with the use of modern technologies to allow it to reduce its impact on the environment, function well as a modern tourist attraction and evoke the original character of the building.
